ABOUT RICHMOND MASSAGE THERAPY
Clinical Director Maureen Hershman, BA, CMT, MMP is a native of Richmond, Virginia. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Richmond in 1988. She received her Massage Therapy Diploma from Virginia School of Technology (now Fortis College) with a 4.0 in 1999. She is certified to practice Massage Therapy in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Maureen and her staff also develop and conduct classes in massage therapy techniques for the Richmond community. In addition, she accepts public speaking engagements on the topics of massage therapy, bodywork and its benefits, as well as business theory and practice.
Her spouse and business partner, Andrea Hale, grew up in Gloucester Point, Virginia. She is the Business Manager and a Massage Practitioner for the practice. Ms. Hale draws from over 20 years' experience as a business owner, instructional designer, and instructor in several fields. She is fluent in French and Spanish, in addition to her native English.
